The situation
The San Elijo Hills Fire Safe Council is a 501(c)(3) run by homeowners across five evacuation zones. The old sehfsc.org was a centered single-column page with a 'Click here to play our welcome message' audio link as the first interactive element. A community in fire country couldn't get to the protection plans in fewer than four clicks.
What we built
A preparedness hub with a wildfire hero, persistent top bar for Wildfire Protection Plans, Today's Fire Weather, Current Active Fires, Events, Donate. Zone-by-zone navigation. Firewise certification reporting. A California-law call-out reminding residents their insurer must offer a discount once the community is Firewise-certified — surfaced on every page.
“It was so easy to work with Brant and Michael. I told them my vision, pointed them at our old site, and they took care of the rest. Simply amazing.”
