COSTS

What does a professional website actually cost?

A full website is $7,500 flat — strategy, copywriting, design, build, and launch — fixed before we start, with no monthly platform fee and you own everything. A DIY site quietly costs more once you count your time, plugins, and the clients it never wins.

The True Cost of Your DIY Website (It's Not $29/Month)

> A DIY website for a service business costs between $3,115 and $8,465 in year one. The platform subscription -- typically $29/month -- is the smallest part. The real cost is owner time: 40 to 100 hours to build, plus four to eight hours a month to maintain. That time, valued conservatively at $50/hour, is what closes the gap between what the invoice says and what the site actually costs.

Quick answers

How much does a website from The Good Site Co cost?

A full website is $7,500 flat, fixed before we start. That price includes strategy, copywriting, design, build, and launch. There are no setup fees, no change orders, and no surprise invoices. Larger multi-location or custom builds are quoted as one flat number before any work begins. Ongoing care is optional and runs $250 to $500 per month, with your first month free.

Do I own the website?

Yes, completely. The code is yours, the domain is yours, and the content is yours. We do not lock you into a platform or a monthly subscription. You can move it, hand it to another developer, or leave it exactly as is. It belongs to you.

Is there a monthly fee to keep my site running?

There is no mandatory platform fee. Because you own the code and it is hosted on modern infrastructure that is typically free, nothing is holding your site hostage. Optional care plans start at $250 per month if you want us to handle updates, monitoring, and a monthly performance briefing, but the site runs fine without them.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We ask for a 25 percent deposit to start. The remaining 75 percent is due only when you approve the finished site. You never pay the balance for work you have not signed off on.
